Daniela Lanaia

Since childhood, Daniela has been drawn towards the healing arts, and the magical/spiritual substance imbued within the Earth. She has a playful, wise spirit and gentle yet strong nature and way in her work.

Daniela has been immersed in creative arts and healing traditions from a young age. Spending much of her adult life in wild landscapes, sacred sites and with Nature, she has travelled and learned from indigenous cultures and healers in North and South America and the British Isles, learning and reawakening to ways of ancient wisdom and sacred relationship with Mother Earth.

Daniela works with sacred sound, music, shamanic practices, energy healing and guides yoga, meditation, spiritual ecology, organic and biodynamic approaches to gardening and living. She has a unique and sensitive awareness that is rooted in a loving relationship with the Earth and the stars.

Her training, experience and qualifications include: mentorships in shamanic healing arts; yogic studies in Hatha, Scaravelli, Tibetan, Kriya and Kundalini yoga including teacher trainings; studies in natropathy, detoxification, fasting, plant medicines and natural healing; Altai Massage Therapy, reiki & Seichem; natural gardening and biodynamics, shamanic sound healing, holistic voice work; ministry training in Earth based ways of prayer; Touching the Light energy body healing..

Daniela has been blessed to learn from and work alongside Ali Calderwood since 2004. Together they form the musical duo 'Anima', and have collaborated on 7 of Anima's albums as well as a number of compilation CDs which have been released worldwide. Daniela travels internationally offering sound healing events and concerts, which are a sacred space of healing and reconnection with our Divine essence. 

Daniela now resides in the Highlands of Scotland, living close to the land and holding space within the Sacred Living Earth Trust. She offers distance sessions and travels internationally with sound healing, retreats and workshops.

 

 

Ali Calderwood:

Ali's heart and deep wisdom have touched many people through his work with music and as a healer. His ability to see beyond the physical facades allows him to assist others to reclaiming the light of their truth and authenticity - dissolving conditioned imprints and self-limiting beliefs and behaviors. Through the use of his words and wisdom, he holds a clear space for others to awaken, heal and empower themselves; reconnecting with the power of simplicity and love.

Ali's work with healing and music is deeply inspired by his spiritual connection. In his late teenage years, he found a great affinity with the ancient sacred sites of the UK, and he observed how when these special places were approached in a certain way, the ancient spirits of these sites would begin to reveal themselves, communicating through Nature. He was so moved by what he experienced, that he dedicated several years to spending intimate time alone with the sacred sites in the highlands and islands of Scotland, often embarking upon vision quests for weeks at a time in order to deepen his connection. Through this time spent with these ancient sites, he received initiations, transmissions and teachings on how and why modern day humanity has got lost, and the importance of living in spiritual alliance and right relationship with Nature and the Divine Mother and Father.

He spent the next few years travelling, where on these journeys connected with certain elders and indigenous people, who's ways of life and spiritual closeness to our Mother Earth were still very much connected. His journey took him to Asia, India and South America, where during this time he received further training and initiations in indigenous healing traditions and plant spirit medicine.

His work with sound and music is an extension of his healing work; and the music of Anima is now used by all kinds of people for a huge variety of healing and therapeutic work.

Ali himself continues to offer one to one sessions and group works and retreats.

Both Ali and Daniela live in the Highlands of Scotland, in a remote location which is totally off grid, within a close-knit community of souls who have come together to work in service to the Great Mother, to honour the Earth and live in alignment with the original and sacred ways. Energy is provided by Nature through renewable energy sources, and food is grown on the land in harmony with the natural rhythms and cycles.  More info on this work can be found within the pages of this site...
