Yoga ~ Unfolding from Within

"Make every action and every movement one of beauty, grace and intention ~ a sacred offering of love to the Divine"

Sacred-Yoga-Practice

Yoga is an ancient art and a way of living in harmony and balance. In its essence, yoga is a communion with the breath of life that moves though each of us - a returning to our wholeness. Through deep wisdom and dedicated practice, the teachings of yoga aim to harmoniously unify body, mind and consciousness in such a way that the body becomes an instrument for treading the path of self awareness.

Yoga invites us to open up to the beauty and great light within us. Yoga invites us to let go of the things that keep us from truly being at peace. It invites us to stop. To be still. To know that all that we are looking for, lives within.

Hatha Yoga

The word Hatha is a compound of the words Ha and Tha, meaning sun (masculine) and moon (feminine). Hatha yoga refers to the practices of physical purification which prepare the body for deep meditation. These practices help to purify and cleanse the body of toxins and deeply held emotions, encourage skeletal alignment and muscular flexibility, and awaken and harmonise the energies of our internal system.

Yoga can also help us to clear energetic blockages which build up over time, through past trauma, injuries or inbalances in the body and mind. The ancient wisdom of yoga can provide us with the inspiration and techniques to face the challenges of life, and to enrich our lives with fluidity, health and vitality. Through meditative practices and focus upon the breath, the mind can become calm and clear, allowing one to feel more relaxed, energised and integrated.

Yoga is a remedy for the whole person, and is a unique journey for each of us. There is no achievement level or competition. Each person works within their own capacity and in tune with their inner wisdom (intuition), and it is for this reason that yoga is beneficial to all regardless of age, gender, religion, body shape or previous experience.

Unfolding from Within

This approach to yoga is a journey of unfolding, through turning your attention inwards. Through this powerful and deep listening practice, your natural sensitivity and self awareness awakens, freeing energy and space from inside, outwards. The practice involves exploring our connection with the Earth and Sky, the sacred breath and the space within and all around us. We learn to listen to the breath and witness our body and mind with a loving and honest approach towards ourselves. This yoga works with the body's own intelligence and innate healing abilities, encouraging the natural unfolding of healthy posture, a fluid, supple body, expansion of breath, and the opening of the heart to touch the soul and reconnect with our Essence.

Yoga sessions will include guidance and hands on assistance to tend to each individuals process. This may incorporate postures which can help to relieve ailments, breathwork and meditation for deep relaxation, as well as holistic advice for supporting a natural and healthy lifestyle. The sessions are suitable for people of all abilities and are very helpful to people with physical imbalances, stiffness, misalignments, for the relief of stress and tension, and for those who are looking to open more deeply into Spirit.

This approach draws upon the ancient wisdom of yoga, Eastern philosophy and shamanism, and is also rooted in the teachings of yoga inspired by Vanda Scaravelli.

About Daniela

Daniela's journey has led her to study different styles of yoga, and completed teacher training in Shjanta Yoga and later, Intergral Yoga with 'Yoga from Within'. She had the privilage of being taught for a number of years by Sandra Sabatini, Angela Farmer and John Stirk, and deeply inpsired by Ganagji, Ramana Maharshi, Vanda Scaravelli, Zen, Taoist, Kriya and Kundalini Yoga and explorations into craniosacral therapy. Her yoga teaching also draws upon many years of working with energetic practices and the healing arts and spending time in silent retreat in Nature.

Through her teaching Daniela brings attention to the value of developing a deeper connection to the essence of being, through exploring the body, mind and spirit in an open, honest, committed and compassionate way. This creates the space for ones inner truth to emerge and with time, a sense of strength and peacefulness grows as attachments and limiting patterns clear and dissolve.

Daniela teach classes, workshops and retreats in England and Scotland.
